Top 10 countries Canadians are moving to

"For years, Canada has battled a nagging reputation as a hub for contented people — which is to say, anyone with ambition thanks the nation for its healthcare and compassion, packs up and heads elsewhere. We see it often with movie stars, doctors and politicians, who may pledge allegiance to Canada but flee for greener, and more lucrative, pastures."

 "Why do they leave?"

"We may never know for sure, but we've learned where they're going. With data from The Globe and Mail — which notes Canada is one of the likeliest immigrant-receiving nations to have its own citizens move abroad — MSN presents the ten countries Canadians are leaving for the most, and a few key economic indicators to explain why they're headed where they are."

Lack of interest kept most non-voters home

"Most Canadians who didn't cast a ballot in the May 2 election say they were too busy or just weren't interested in voting, according to Statistics Canada."

Other findings from the report
  • Unemployed non-voters were most likely to say they were not interested in voting.
  • Among non-voters with less than a high school education, 30 per cent said they were not interested versus 22 per cent among those with a university degree.
  • Immigrants with Canadian citizenship cited their schedules as the main reason they didn't vote.

THE CONFEDERATION OF CANADA AS A WAR MEASURE

This original video (and eBook to follow) explore the Purposes of the British North America Act, 1867 the Confederation of Canada as they relate to Permanency in the Working of the Union. Canada is a permanent nation created by the Founding Fathers to preserve and maintain the integrity of our society for all time to come.

Confederation legally excludes both annexation, and secession that would lead to annexation. The BNA Act, 1867 is therefore Canada’s first line of defence against North American Union, which is unconstitutional.
